114 assaults, 19 DUI's and finally...
... finally this piece of crap gets put away. Too bad the authorities waited for him to actually kill someone before they would do it.
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/montreal/story/2009/09/09/quebec-drunk-driving-dangerous-offender.html The prosecutor tried to get him labelled as a dangerous offender, which in Canada means an indeterminate sentence and is about equivalent to life without parole. I think he may be eligible for parole in 12 years. How do you think he'll celebrate his release? If we had the three strikes clause in Canada this jerk would have been in jail decades ago and this poor woman would still be alive. Even if we had the 20 strikes law! |
He also needs to get the shlt beat out of him a few times a day for the next month or so!
That will help him mello out! Something very wrong w/ a system that will tolerate 114 convictions, was he also a politician? |
we can only hope that his liver gives up on him in the next 12 years.

When I'm Prime Minister I'll change the laws to protect my fellow Canadians against people like Walsh, similar to the 3 strike rule south of the border. Also no one will graduate from High school, collage or university with out a valid first aid ticket and CPR, to be taught at that same school. Every Canadian citizen will also be an organ donor unless they sign that they refuse for what ever reason, instead of signing that they want to be a donor, many people, myself included want to be donor's but just don't sign up for it. Capital punishment will also return for convicted and admitted criminals of serious crime, murder, Repeated rape convictions and child abuse ie: Clifford Olsen, car thieves will do time as will people caught with meth labs. Repeated taxing on cars for personal use everytime they are sold will stop. Grass will also be legal and sold by the LCB and taxed big time. Reactors will be built and I won't bail out Air Canada every 3-5 years. If your on welfare and capable of working then you will work. These are just some of the things I plan on doing, our laws have to get way tougher. Sorry for stepping on your post, but would ya vote for me?
|
I would vote for you but you are in the wrong country for my vote.
My mantra when I am appointed King will be simple: Take personal responsibility for your actions. Every single thing you do has consequences, good or bad they are your consequences. It is NOT the governments obligation or societies duty to fix your problems. Eliminate the IRS & FEMA, just fire them all and sell the buildings. No income tax, just a national sales tax on everything. No FEMA, if your house is destroyed call your insurance company. If you don't have regular insurance you are a self insured, pay for it yourself. But that is just my opinion, I could be wrong, but I know I am right. |

You stole about 12 planks out of my own platform right there! |
Don't you have the ACLU or it's equivalent in Canada? You could never get away with it here.
|
ACLU? Don't you know that our most Conservative party is just a bit left of your beloved Democrats? And our more liberal parties make your NAACP and ACLU look positively Reaganesque. We don't do Republican up here... might offend someone. (We talk it, but we don't do it)
But still (and I know crap like this probably happens in the US too), how can you see the same miscreant 100+ times in court and think that it is probably ok to give the jerk probation??!! HELLO?? |

He'll probably be out in 5 years the way our justice system works..... good behaviour, only have to do 1/2 time, double for time served during trial...etc...etc....
Time to start building prisons, and filling them up..... and deporting immigrant criminals... IN LESS then 5 years (He's still appealing) |
