The Scoots

Well,

I did it to myself... I ate the chinese food at the Flying J... now I am terrified to go more than 30 feet from the toilet.

I am so pissed off about this that I am tempted to return their 'food' to them in a plastic shopping bag.

What would you do?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...eys/pain30.gif

javadog 09-20-2009 06:36 PM

Is that Flying J, as in the Flying J truck stop?

JR

unclebilly 09-20-2009 06:39 PM

The very same... I can't imagine what would happen if I was a trucker and got 30 miles down the road...

fingpilot 09-20-2009 06:47 PM

Now you know why all those wide-mouth sports drink bottles that are full on the side of the road are called 'trucker bombs'.

javadog 09-20-2009 06:48 PM

Well, since you ate Chinese food in a truck stop, you have only yourself to blame. I mean, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? I won't set foot in a Chinese buffet, let alone a truck stop. That's just begging for trouble.

I'd suggest that you complain to the manager, but that might only get you a free meal down the road... surely you wouldn't eat there again.

On to the problem: adhere STRICTLY to a clear liquid diet for at least 24 hours. Do not take the little pills or drink from the nasty pink bottle.

I eat at Flying J's all the time ,but i've never tried their chinese.
Thanks for the warning.

Reminds me of a chinese buffet that i went to one time. the sign in the window said:

"We change food daily."

made it about 3 miles down the road....

One of my friends ate at the local Flying J just a few miles from my house. He was crazy enough to eat the Chili. He was just a mile or so from the place and felt the pressure building. He remembered where I lived and fortunately for him I was home. Even more fortunate is I have a bathroom in my garage. He said it was the most powerful laxative he ever had, and he has had a colonoscopy.

This was taken from a Walmart Shoppers Website... maybe more like a Flying J Diner...

C'mon Chad isn't Richard between the J and Glenn? He is crazy enough to eat the chili though...

rammstein 09-22-2009 03:15 PM

You ate chinese food from Flying J. The fact that you are alive is reason to celebrate.

GH85Carrera 09-22-2009 03:45 PM

It was not Richard, it was a former board member named Marvin.

924slover 09-22-2009 06:38 PM

good luck but i think eating the chinese food from a truck stop deserves a dummy smack

Porsche-O-Phile 09-22-2009 06:46 PM

You're a brave, brave man...

I've had virtually every kind of super-spicy Thai curry, Indian curry and a whole ton of Mexican pepper dishes that would burn the hair off of most gringo's mustaches (I like spicy). But no way I'd ever eat truckstop fare. No way.

porsche4life 09-22-2009 06:48 PM

I've eaten lots of truck stop food. Never ever ever the chinese.

Erakad 09-22-2009 11:51 PM

Been a lot of pieces done on the dangers of buffets...I too avoid them like the plague. You never know what goes on in the kitchen, but when you see what the public does...ack!

Oh, try immodium, should fix you up.
