Turbo suction hose. Where can I find some?
 

Hey guys,

I am trying to find some flexible 2.5" hose that can withstand vacuum/suction for use as a turbo inlet hose. Most of the 4-ply silicone hose on the market collapses under vacuum. Below is a borrowed photo of where the hose will be used.

FVD has the right stuff but it is a bit too small (60mm = 2.36") and the cost is crazy!

how about aluminum tubing? Something like this:

This application requires a flexible tube so aluminum won't work.

Both a little small, but I would contact them anyway...

No dice. That is their largest size :(

Is there an industry out there that uses lots of suction air hoses?

Aircraft Spruce or any other good aircraft supply store.

Airplanes use this type of thing.

How about suction hose off of a water pump. They do not collapse and come in a multitude of sizes
