Turbo suction hose. Where can I find some?
Hey guys,
I am trying to find some flexible 2.5" hose that can withstand vacuum/suction for use as a turbo inlet hose. Most of the 4-ply silicone hose on the market collapses under vacuum. Below is a borrowed photo of where the hose will be used. FVD has the right stuff but it is a bit too small (60mm = 2.36") and the cost is crazy! Both a little small, but I would contact them anyway... |

No dice. That is their largest size :( Is there an industry out there that uses lots of suction air hoses? |
Aircraft Spruce or any other good aircraft supply store.
Airplanes use this type of thing. www.aircraftspruce.com |
How about suction hose off of a water pump. They do not collapse and come in a multitude of sizes

Titan Industries, Manufacturer of Industrial Rubber Hose
Hard to say if a 250 F rating is good enough, though. We buy through American Hose. |
