Imola Race (warning - spoilers inside)

In race 2 the BMW's raw power was not useable on the technical Imola course. The development continues.

pwillikers 09-28-2009 05:25 AM

Spoiler?

weld86 09-28-2009 06:19 AM

+1 or is it -1 on the spoiler.

Dana in Philly 09-28-2009 07:13 AM

HEY! Watch it with the spoilers, man. Luckily I saw 'em yesterday.

So, I take it that the "Raw Power" WAS somewhat workable in race one on the same course? And you wonder when anyone jumps on you, after such senseless stuff, Bubba?

Let alone that you completely spoil it for the ones who did not have a chance to watch it yet...

thanks for the spoiler title, jeez Nail I didn't get to watch it yet!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...eys/spankA.gif

Sorry:(

Actually it wasn't Ralf.

signit98 09-28-2009 05:16 PM

Well, reading about Richard's loss... this here becomes such a very unimportant issue...

You are so very right Ralf.

Look, it's bad enough that people continue to put spoilers on here.
But if you do it, and people call you out on it, at least have the decency to go back and edit or delete it instead of CONTINUING to screw your fellow board members. ESPECIALLY NOT COOL just leaving it up!!! %#$@^#

chewie 09-28-2009 07:04 PM

yeah well that's just bloody wonderful! I aint even gonna bother watchin it now.

Rog' edit the first post please so not EVERYONE is dissapointed.

Bob Hancock 09-28-2009 07:43 PM

Gentlemen, while I certainly understand the need for a Spoiler title in our ROE, it seems to me that anyone who is really serious about not reading a spoiler thread would not open one entitled "Ducati Rules at Imola." But maybe that's just me.

chewie 09-28-2009 07:59 PM

Bob, I click first...and ask questions later :D

I thought it may have been about pre-race stuff, so I had a squiz. Unfortunately we can't edit the thread title when we post, so if you have a brain cramp and forget to type in spoiler we're all buggered.

Cheers Rog' for moving it :) I am sure other clicker happy peeps will appreciate it.

I learned a long time ago to not even goto the OT forum on an F1 weekend until I watch the race.....
It has been better though, this is the first spoiled thread I've seen all year I believe :)

Thank you Roger. I was not aware that the spoiler tag was needed after the race had aired world wide. Honest mistake. I hope no ones life has been perminentaly altered by the post.

Bob Hancock 09-29-2009 04:23 AM

Speaking of which....what's the statute of limitations on race results posting. A week maybe? Honest question.

Good sticky thread topic. prolly better than where to find the for sale thread sticky that has become the king of the mountain post place.

Sorry, no. The title was enough of a spoiler. It's Tuesday and I'm still pissed.

Bob Hancock 09-29-2009 05:13 AM

I just don't understand all this spoiler stuff anyway. Ducati won at Imola....OK. Actually, I use the spoiler title to read the results and see if I wanna stop my day to watch the race. If it's just a bunch of bikes going around the track, I've learned all I need to know. My 2 cents is that this is all much to do about very little. But that's just me.

Anyways....if this is all you have in your life to piss you off, Jim....you are a blessed man.

Seems this was moved to OT from the bike forum. That would explain it...those of us in OT are far better trained in such matters :D (and I changed the title to reflect the spoilers).
