Having a horrible 2009, can't wait for 2010...
 

First, I got my car stolen. Yes, it's a P-car.
Then I got myself into a situation yesterday that has my family worrying. I was sitting in my car waiting for my wife when a black Lincoln drove up and parked next to me. The passenger got out fine, but when he opened the back door to put some stuff in the car, he opened the door too wide and ding my car (actually a minivan). I am very anal for car dings. I got out of the car and told him "you just hit my car". I wasn't expecting to get anything for it, but just wanted to pass on the message of maybe he should be more careful in the future. Instead, the driver went ballistic on me and even threatened me of unpleasant consequences in two days (which is tomorrow). I took his lic plate # down as he did the same for me. Are we going back to the society of Al Calpone as the passenger made a comment of "you don't know who you're dealing with".
Is he able to gain any information from my CA lic plate?
What is this society coming to?
Why do we have people like this roaming our streets?

So far:

My wonderful mother in law got cancer.
I have lost my job.
My awesome dog passed away. (RIP General Bailey)
Our swimming pool developed a serious leak.
Our refrigerator died.
Our sprinklers system died.
We had a pipe break under our pool deck.
Our AC air handler literally exploded (this was yesterday, so I am sitting in a very warm house right now.)
My new sister in law made up a LUDICROUS lie and now my brother has asked me to never contact him again.
My Labrador tore her CCL (like our ACL) and needed surgery.
The brains to our pool system shorted out.

That's just what I can think of off the top of my head. Every time something happens, we just chalk it up to 2009....

My wife and I are celebrating HUGE when 2010 starts!

Shenanigans. A true criminal has bigger fish to fry than the guy who called him out on a door ding. And if they were going to do something, it would have been right then and there.

I wish I had a swimming pool.

id buy a bulletproof vest, move to another state, join the witness protection program, remote start my vehicle everytime you go near it, never open a letter/package without a bomb sniffing dog around, and serious contemplate becoming a monk somewheres in TIBET!
