My mother runs the Main St development initiative for Oakland Park.
A few years ago she came up with the concept of doing an October Fest as a fund raiser. Oakland Park Main Street If you are not busy next weekend stop by Jaco Pastorious Park (Mom helped get that park named and built as well) and enjoy. We are real Krauts, Stuttgart born and bred Mom gets the beer shipped straight in from Munich, no domestic knock off crap. So if you have time next weekend go support my mom and Oakland Park.
