I have a wireless home network. Can a netbook be networked to access pics and videos?

Net accessibility is what Netbooks are all about.
They are starting to come with Gobi cards, basically a built in 3G cell phone for access just about anywhere. You can set up service with t mobile, att and I believe even Verizon.
