Flatbed Towing Question

I have a '84 944 that Im taking parts out of to fix my good car.. I want to part out what parts i dont need, including the wheels.

So will towing companies usually take cars without wheels?

Im not ready to get rid of it just yet, but i want to know before i think about selling the wheels. thanks!

Yes. If you will be selling just the hulk in the end, the buyers will be used to that. Actually some will like it, because they wont have to pay to dispose of the tires.

Instead of calling a large towing company, you may want to try to find one of those guys who buy vehicles for scrap, our local penny saver is filled with them, and I always see them advertising on craigslist.

You don't know for sure. Why don't you just call them and ask them?

you can probably list it on CL for someone who might need body panels, or starter tub for a spec car.

Had a tub that was on stands, no suspension in it.

He hooked up the chain, pulled it off the stands and right up on the bed.

No issues.
