Nip n Tuck, Any Fans?
 

New season. Watched last night and was mildly dissappointed. The first and second seasons just seemed better - better writing, better acting, better camera angles. Interesting story lines. Is this season gonna suck?

It has gone steadily downhill, but still entertains me.

This is the last season. Ryan Murphy (the creator) has focused his attention on feature films and "Glee" the past few seasons, maybe that's why the writing has been mediocre.

When they went to LA it got a lot weaker. Sucks when a good show goes downhill.

As bizarro as the first season was, the second season got even more so. It was like a politician telling the truth, you know it's not possible, but you keep watching anyway. The show moving to California, LA of all places, makes it have to rise to another level of unbelievability. Too bad, I suspect it will suck.

I watched the first season or two... von Doom's character Christian always amazed me. I thought the writing was good and the acting even better. I just sorta stopped watching. Maybe sometime I'll grab all of season 2 and 3 and sit down and do it in weekend or two.

I love "Nip Tuck"!

-This woman who flies A320's for United gave me the Nip Tuck DVD's to watch, and I couldn't put them down! I had the first season compilation, and I brought them to the crash pad I share in Memphis when I was sitting on call.

One other guy was there, and we spent the whole night watching those videos! I put the first one in at 8 PM, and we finished and finally went to bed at about 730 AM! The next night, we were on reserve, and we went in his car to Blockbuster and he rented the second season and we did the same thing again!

I'm not a "television" guy, I'm kind of disgusted with network television, and even cable is rarely interesting: National Geographic or maybe the Discovery channel are fun to vegetate to...but for the most part I leave it off. But the Nip Tuck series is great!

I really enjoyed Seasons 1-3. The show went downhill after that.

Still a big fan of Ryan Murphy's work, though.

Art Z - not sure about that. Any show about two guys cutting up women to make them "hot" and spend money like they were plastic surgeons is pretty XY...
