is this your 2nd annual now?

I'll do my best to get some entertaining pics

Myself and one friend have been skiing together at least once a winter for 10 years.

This is our 4th annual trip overnight trip. Freshman Year-Wisconsin Sophomore Year-Breckenridge/Vail Junior Year- Ontario Senior Year- Aspen

Going to Jackson Hole over spring break with friends from school for good measure.

Jackson Hole is THE BEST!!!! - try to go in the winter to get some powder.

Your trip sounds great - have fun. Awaiting pics.

Camelback for beer?

When I worked as a Ski Instructor there was nothing I hated more than drunk people on the mountain. Can't begin to count the number of liquored up macho boys I had to nurse of off trails that were way over their level. Usually they were bleeding, most from the chin, some noses, split lips and a couple with missing teeth.

If you are drinking to "keep warm", newsflash, you are doing the exact wrong thing.

Alcohol may give you a warm feeling but it actually lowers your core temp. Good way to get a case of hypothermia and not realize it cause you're buzzed.

Alcohol causes your blood vessels to move closer to the outside of your skin causing your blood to loose warmth quicker.

Save the drinks for Mahogany Ridge.

Have a good time, sounds like it will be a blast.

Man that comment was 100% a joke.... I know that alcohol will fuch you over in the cold.....

I'm an old school type that loves places like Alta, A-Basin, Kirkwood, Mad River Glen etc. but still enjoy Vail and Aspen. I assume the Red Onion is stil there and the big TexMex restaurant where you can get nachos and margueritas without deressing up in fur and a Stetson to fit in.
As for me in college we went to Steamboat, Breck then to Tahoe. Only made it to Aspen when I had a free place to crash.

My last trip I sat three bar stools away from Cindy Crawford and walked past Martina Navratilova on the street after dinner. You wont see them at A Basin!

enjoy.

Dude....Alta was the schiznit. I went there in the late '80s regularly. Damn, brings back memories.

Drink lots of fluids, like water sans scotch, not beer etc. You get dehydrated worse at altitude, you will have a better trip if you don't let that happen.

Just got back to Oxford after a 24 bus ride from Aspen to Bloomington and then another 2.5 hr drive on from there.

All in all, probably the most fun week of my life. The skiing was unreal and the nightlife was even better. I'll write up some more when I am not so tired. Pictures will be coming, I don't have too many good ones, but my friends do and I'll get them soon enough.

I going to go grab some dinner and then keep this train rolling, been out every night since New Year's and see no reason to stop now.
