honestly, have you ever met a woman that had a Playgirl magazine?
seriously. in all my years...never, ever seen or heard of a woman having a man-mag.
anyone here? women are not wired like us men...visual stimulation is not paramount.. swing shift guys have some damn wierd conversations.(thought i would share) .going home now to shower and hug my wife.. then back to day shift. thank goodness! who are we kidding right? this is a gay magazine..correct?

Some girls on my freshman dorm floor had a Playgirl mag. It might have been purchased in "retaliation" for the wall-sized hall bulletin board that got plastered with pics of scantily clad and naked women torn from various magazines, though.

I think Playgirl came out right during the height of the Women's Lib movement. Women complained about the inherent sexism of Playboy magazine, so the publishers made Playgirl.
Just more proof that women will put up a HUGE fight to get something they don't even want.

I've heard of one purchased by a woman as a joke for a bachelorette party. That is the only female purchase of this magazine I know of.

I've never bought or even read Playgirl and don't know anyone who has. When Steve and I were first dating, he had a subscription to Playboy. Yeah, I read it - and honestly felt that much of the writing was top notch. Certainly head and shoulders above most newspapers - LOL!
I would never buy Playgirl. It's really only out there for one purpose and I'd rather not advertise why I have it in my possession. Conversely, you know those "hot fireman" calendars? The ones where the money goes to charity? Well for goodness sakes it's for charity and I'd buy those all day long! Pretty much the same thing, certainly for the same purpose  but the charity calendars seem much more guilt free...And DAMN - Fireman are smokin' hot! (oh and don't even get me started on smut novels - LOL!) angela

This reminds me... I got gifted a subscription to "Esquire" magazine that would go straight from the mailbox to the recycle bin.
One day I got the bright idea that maybe I should at least look at one... maybe get some fashion tips... I start flipping through the mag... male model... male model... male model.. hey, wait a minute! One cover had a smoking hot lady on it, my friend picked up the mag, I said "oh, that is a ghey mag" he says "What?" pointing at the cover, I said look inside. He flipped through a few pages "yep, ghey"
