Owner states "BIKE HAS CLEAR NEW YORK STATE TRANSFERABLE REGESTRATION." I would verify that he also has a clear title with no liens.
The price seems low for this type of motorcycle, it would be much more if it had matching numbers. Ask what was performed for the rebuild and resoration and if he can provide copies of reciepts. Does it start and ride. Do all the electrics work, etc, etc. This motorcycle may go for $20K-$35K. Also, you may find it awkward to ride with a right hand shifter, left foot clutch and left hand throttle unless you're left handed. Other than that, I'd jump on it if I had the cash. I should also add that motorcycles, especially indians, have been and always will be pricey. If you want cheap go jap.

These old classic Indians produced only 22hp. Twist the throttle and wait for the bike to catch up. |
