Anyone need a good tow vehicle?

Selling my F-250, getting calls from this eBay listing but no one has shown up with dead presidents yet. It's a fantastic truck. PM/email me or call the # in the eBay listing text. Thanks.

I can attest that the F250 is a fantastic truck. I have been driving one around all semester while towing the ski boat for my waterski team. I am trying to convince my dad that we need to replace the Xterra with an F250, but he's not going for it quite yet.

The mirrors on that thing are unbelievable, I don't know if I can go back to towing anything without them. The only downside to the truck is the torque and incredible comfort at speed, which makes you want to drive it fast. We took it (without the boat) to a tournament in Michigan. 4 people and bed completely full ski and camping gear combined with trying to get there and back as quick as possible netted about 11-12mpg on a 750 mile round trip.

Good luck on the sale Denis, you didn't have that truck for long. Trying to turn a profit?

Nope, happy to get my $$ out of it. I've made a few capital improvements since I bought it. It's a fantastic truck but unfortunately I cannot afford to keep it right now. Also not really using it to tow anything.

Waterski team? Dude, that rocks. A cousin of my Dad's was a famous waterskier back in the day, he got in the Guiness book of records for skiing the entire length of the Mississippi in the 1950s.

You guys need to flog that power stroke and get a Cummins! Just put a new Raptor lift pump on my Dodge and now getting a solid 27+ mpg at 70 mph on the highway. In town its 23-24 mpg and thats hard to beat!

Hope you find a good home for the truck. It was a nice looking one when you stopped by here.

Hey Joe, it's actually not the same one I had in '07 when I visited you. I've owned 2 grey F-250 4x4 diesels in a row. Good to hear about your mileage, hard to beat that in a full-size truck!

Denis,

Well, its even better now. Just finished putting a raptor lift pump on and had not really driven the truck that much, been sickly and staying around the house most of the week. Just did a 8 mile round trip to a friends place and back home, all in town driving and going 30-45 mph. Mileage display pulling back into the house, and this includes warming the truck up, reads 26.1 mpg. In town... My Honda did not get that good!

Noticed that the Ebay auction is over so hope you sold the truck. Sure is a nice looking one. I love the Fords, but the Cummin's is a better engine IMHO and with mileage like this and lasting 500,000 miles are really hard to beat.

Oh Yeah? I watched a woman goin' for the salt water speed ski record in the Oakland estuary...dang if she fell on her final run - but coincidentally she set the record for the 100 yard douche.
