I've never been more pissed at a stranger...

4:21 AM. The car alarm of the blue Dodge Neon SRT4 parked out on the street in front of my house is going off. Again. It has been doing this once every few hours for the last 4 days.

Backstory.

A young college girl decided to park her car in the parking spot in front of my house last week. She is from a sorority house down the street I think. She then leaves her car there. It hasn't moved in a week. Needless to say I'm a bit pissed. The girls from that place constantly take my parking spot even though they have a parking lot of their own, and they will leave their cars parked there for days or weeks... leaving me to have to park on a side street somewhere. I mean, it's kinda BS considering it's usually common courtesy around here to not park in front of someone's house/driveway to their house if you know... you plan on leaving your car there for weeks. Just seems kinda rude. In St. Louis suburbs it was just sorta an unwritten rule. But whatever. I can park in the back alley if I have to.

But the real annoying part is this chick's car (with it's fart can muffler and limo tint with a windshield banner on the top of it with "Princess" or some other ridiculous wording) has a retardedly sensitive car alarm. All it takes is a large truck passing by to set it off. And it has been going off every fricking few hours for days. Middle of the night and early morning... doesn't matter.

It's one of those annoying ones too, not just a honking horn. You know the ones. booooOOOOOOOOOOp.... booooooOOOOOOOP..... ERHN ERHN ERHN ERHN ERHN EHRN ERHN..... beeeeeeeeeooooooooooooo. beeeeeeeeoooooooooo.

son of a ***** it's driving me nuts. Tomorrow morning I'm leaving a note on the windshield. She needs to friggin cut that **** out or move her car or something. Either that or I'm going to give that car alarm a reason to be going off.

It's ridiculous too, the fact that she keeps the alarm on all the time when my car is parked in a spot that has no street lights and I leave it unlocked 50% of the time. This street isn't a necessarily high-crime area. Not yet..

Dont say a word to her. Her and her *****y friends will just have to prove to you that they can park there. Just loosen the valve core on her tires. She'll have to get it towed. Then she'll never park there again. And if for some reason someone sees you, you wont have to buy her tires like if you damaged them.

Call the sorority, offer to fix the alarm, tell them you have a 3 month old baby. Be nice.

......and if that doesn't work.......+1 on the valve stem.

Loosen the valve core...How`d you do that? If you don`t keep pressing on it, it it will take forever to deinflate. But there is the speeder pimp slap method too...

I wouldn't vandalize the car. Knock on the door, tell her the alarm is keeping you up. If she does nothing, call the police.

Assuming she'll tow it right away. Otherwise if the car sits there for weeks as previousely mentioned, a plan B will have to be devised.

Most communities have alarm/nuisance noise ordinances.

Coupla tickets might be in order.

Why are you torturing yourself? Most cities have an ordinance that says you can't keep a car parked out on the street more than 24 hours without moving it. Call the police and have them put a move or tow sticker on the car.

Can you have the cars towed for parking illegally in your lot?

Not this again.

Go find the girl and talk to her one-on-one. No note. No "letting air out of tires." That's the stupidest fkn idea on the planet.

for the tire idea i heard that if you take a small stone and put it under the cap it will release the air and when the cap is removed the stone usually falls out without anyone realizing it was there.
I would suggest that you leave a note first no need to leave your name , see what happens.
The abandoned car idea isnt bad either, that might get it a ticket

Just call the cops, if it's bothering you it's bothering a lot of other folks as well, it's not up to you to find the idiot and talk about it, most likely they (owner) will do nothing.

listen this is what you do. go to a pay phone, call aaa or a close by repair shop. Have the car towed explaining that it has electrical issues that you need fixed...voila, problem solved!
A guy that lived in the condo complex by me had a nasty habit of stealing my parking spot every winter AFTER i shoveled the snow from it....he never did that again

This gives you a ticket into a sorority house. Look at this as a positive my man. It's like a Wonka Golden Ticket. Work it. In less than a week you'll be up to your ears in sorority oompa-loompas standing in line to experience your sexual chocolate.
