Nothing that ever moved my car...just glad you're ok.

The only time I have felt frightened in a car was years ago in Tulle Fog near Sacramento coming back from a river trip. Zero visibility: now where to run to, plenty of places to hide.

Funny, years later I would fly into the valley in my H-60 when the Tulle Fog hit...you could fly in absolute sunshine above a floor of fog, spot the occasional radio tower poking above the layer.

We'd shoot instrument approaches down to minimums, never spot the runway and execute the missed approach profile. We shoot five or six to log actual instrument approaches.

Amazing, from the sun into absolute white, climb 1500 to 2000ft back to the light.

Again, glad you are fine.

I think I remember that storm Glenn... I wasn't in it though. I just remember driving down I-40 and there being drifts of hail that looked like snow.

Living in Texas I've had the sky turn green on me a few times. Those are the only times I get worried.

Also got caught up in golf ball sized hail while hiking in Philmont. We got to our campsite and set up a blue tarp between a couple of trees. But we were tired so we just sat around the empty fire ring for a little while before putting up tents. Lots of thunder rumbling around, and every now and then I'd hear something crashing through the trees. Finally I told everybody to be quiet for a minute because I didn't know what was making that noise. A couple of seconds later a giant hailstone landed in front of my feet. Needless to say we all got pounded pretty good because blue tarps don't exactly give a lot of shelter and it pretty much unloaded on us a minute or so later.

A green sky is scary. It is usually very still, until the hail hits.
