That is not that much money for a DL test. In Germany its minimum of $1500 for one try so this is not a big deal.

She took the WRITTEN test 950 times before passing.... Passing score is 60 out of 100. It would seem to me that in 950 tries you could randomly select answers and come out over 60 at least a couple of times... I mean you could lay out a grid and have chickens walk over it and choose the answers they poop on with greater success than she accomplished.

Now, apparently, she will be taking the behind the wheel portion of the test.

Thats terrible that they would let her just keep trying, its going to be an accident waiting to happen, she's probably moving to Vancouver to be close to her friends and relitives, no wonder our insurance rates are so high, speaking of high, one more hit and her eyes will be closed for sure, No i'm not racially descriminating, its just certain nationalities just can't drive and she should have never gotten her licience, ya'd think she would have just blown the driving tester after a 100 tries

I actually feel for the lady, that's a lot of plowing through failure w/o giving up. Does seem like a ridiculous story, though. How on earth could you fail a simple written driving test that requires slightly more than half right answers 949 times??!! Doesn't seem possible...

Can't imagine that she'll pass the driving portion but who knows what the standards are in that country. In the U.S.A., there has always been an intense and successful campaign from the auto industry(s) to make getting a DL fairly easy. You cannot sell millions of cars unless everyone can get a DL. Plus the states make a bloody fortune off of traffic citations. It's all a big racket...
