Screwing with craigslist scammers
I started f$*king with these guys on craigslist who were trying to scam me and I think I probably shouldn't have. I started sending them emails asking if it really worked and if they made alot of money getting people to cash fake checks and wire him money. I was just really trying to waste his time and see if any of them would actually answer and write me back. We'll he wrote me back alright, This is what I got:
___________ Would you like us to work together yes i make good money and if you are ready we can work So, I wrote him back and asked him what he meant. If he was offering me a job or instruction in what he does. In the mean time I forgot my real cell phone number was in the ad...Now i've gotten two phone calls from a cell phone in Florida....could be a coincidence I suppose, but I don't know anyone in Florida. |
My brother-in-law is a detective who does a lot of fraud work. All I can say is that there are some really seedy people out there you don't want to get mixed up with. I would block the phone number and cease communicating by e-mail. Con artists almost always prefer to work alone and you don't want to get to the point where he thinks you know too much.
