Your Road Bike Pics
I've always enjoyed the lines and looks of a sleek road bike. Mine original jet black, silver fork bottoms. Not the tops but it's pro grade, Shimanos etc., Looked at the best bike shop here and finally finding at a higher end sports shop, it was the one that fit/size.
I'd be interested in seeing yours! Thanks. ![]() ![]()

I took this pic soon after I got it off craigslist for $1K. I've got a better seat, post, & peddles on it now.

VERY COOL!!!
My two hobbies right now - Porsches and bikes! I am currently a Cervelo Rep so I have a few too many of them to post... R3SL TdF, S3 Olympic and I'm currently riding a "winterized" RS/SRAM Red. There are a few fat tire'd bikes in the garage too. There are actually so many bikes and equipment in the garage that there is definitely no room for my soon to be porsche.... what to do? Sell bikes? drop the car project? NO, NO, NO!!! rent more garage space!! Here are a couple of pics, one from 2007 and one from the 2008 RAAM where I was a part of the winning 8 man team. 3000 miles in 5 days, 9 hours and 43 minutes. 23.4mph average and a new RAAM record! ![]() Sognfjell pass, Norway. 1430m.o.s. ![]()

This is my little road bike (47 cm - but it feels more like a 49). Specialized Allez Pro M4 with spinergy spox wheels and a bit of a mixed drivetrain (mostly Dura-Ace, some other bits). The scars on the shifters are from a rather spectacular crash during a criterium. A few scars on my body accompany those!
I always feel bad when I ride this bike. Most of the time I ride the mountain bikes or the cyclocross bike. This bike sites forever collecting dust... Then I get on this thing and WOW - what a freakin' ROCKET!!!! I am always astounded at how fast this bike is, especially after riding the mountain bikes. I think I'll spend a little more time on it this year. ![]() angela ![]()

Was in the middle of the bike portion of a triathlon....heavy rainy day...you can see the water trail aft of the bike path...We saw a lot of falls that day...the officials asked us to slow down in the turns where it was very tricky.... ![]()

Love the Bianchi's Arerrac. I met Knut Knudsen last spring and he was telling some war stories!
OK everyone - here is the big, huge, monumental question: Does the bike fit in the Porsche? I mean, can one really combine these two passions? Pictures please!! how do you get your bike to the event in your Porsche??

With the 911, I transport like this. It's a removable rack that is attached with rubber covered metal clips to the bumper and to the top edge of the deck lid.
I have transported the road bike inside of the car wrapped in a blanket with the wheelset in the front trunk. angela ![]()

Those were two hot rides right there angela!!
I was thinking some sort of fabricated two-bike rack that would attach... somewhere but mine's gonna have a whale tail! I saw an original roof rack here on the forum but $2500 - yikes!
