Which wing? I grab the right one on most as they are flying in circles...

You must have "clockwise" flies. In the southern hemi-sphere, the flies circle counter clockwise, and the left wing is the easiest to catch.

I was referring to catching them and their babies at the same time. Assume you were as well? Along with their uncles and aunts and so on? All in one swipe?

Last time we fed a small (250+) group of school kids with only two catches. Arms get pretty tired though...

You guys are soft. Where I come from we catch wasps with them.

Thats just for practice. Once you upgrade, its time for wasps, then the step up to eagles.

Once caught a Boeing with the sticks but dammit could not carry it home! :)

Surprised no-one has mentioned/admitted to using chopsticks when eating umm...err... at the "Y"

I'm 1/4 Chinese and I can't get the hang of chopsticks. I'm good at math though.

born in Taiwan and was mandated by dad at an early age to use chopsticks...and to use it right, otherwise we don't eat. I can't stand using a fork...it's just so much easier with chopsticks!

I'm so white I'm pink, native So. Cal. boy so I never had to learn to use them.

But I have a serious sushi problem and the chefs taught me... so yes I can use them.

no way!! bring them. lots of people do it. especially with the flu season.

i see people with those stainless steel ones all the time. i would get some, but i know i would lose them.

no you would lose one, but refuse to throw out the other in the hopes that you will one day reunite the lost chop stick with its mate. Sadly, after months of separation, you will find the lost chop stick but only after throwing out its mate the week before. A single lonely chops stick... so sad.

I use them all the time. Now we have kids, and one of the little punk is a picky eater. A fork is little too difficult at picking the little bits of food he doesn't out of his plate. Chopsticks are the fantictic tool for getting the little of vegetable thats stuck to his meat or chicken. With a pair of chopsticks I never have to get my hands dirty. When do they grow out of this stage? He's going to be four. We don't know how we are going to teach him the black art of using the sticks to eat.

Someone mention here that they like to eat salad with them. I do and find it so much easier then a fork. I do it at home all the time. My wife thinks I am nuts.

There is no question western utensils are superior. I've been living in China for a year and always opt for spoon/fork when I have the chance.
