If I were to get a .45ACP, it would likely be a Sig p220. But that is in part because I like the way Sigs handle, they are easy to tear down (no tools required), and are incredibly tough.

I like 1911s as well, but feel more comfortable with a Sig. ymmv.

But if we're talking home defense, shouldn't we be talking Cold Steel Katanas?!?

I did get my stainless Springfield Mil-Spec for $275 delivered, but it was missing a barrel. Still, it was only another $60 to make it complete. But that was a super steal.
