anyone buying crab straight from the fishermen? do you just go to the docks? which docks? what time?

If you are looking for crabs in SF, I'm sure you can find them without looking too hard.

Still working at Devil's Slide? If so, just drive on down to Pillar Point Harbor near Half Moon Bay. You can buy them off the boats there. Check the board at the Harbor Master's office to see which boats are selling. Go in the afternoon. You could also try Fisherman's Wharf.

Or catch them yourself. We used to do it in the 60's.
friend put out 3 crab pots at Tamales Bay, we had crab everynight
