Colts - Pats Game
Did you see that game???? 35 - 34 wow!!! Belicheck goes for it on 4th and 2 and provides the world with a "What are you thinking" moment. LOL
|
It was a thriller!
|
What was that man thinking? "Thriller" as in MJ, DOA.
|
Did Belichek take a f'n stupid pill. Coach blew that game. Bad time out management meant they could not challenge the spot of the catch.
|
Belichek. 'Nuff said.
|
What a game!!! I was at the game and the crowd was the loudest I've heard it yet in at Lucas Oil. Thank you Belichek for that decision, and giving Manning over 2 minutes to make a 28 yard TD. Payton would have had a pretty good chance of doing it from 70 yards away, but at 28 yds it was a sealed deal. I was stunned when I saw Brady coming back out onto the field for that 4th down attempt.
Now, about this hang over that I'm nursing... At 8am in the office this morning, it's not going quite as well as the game did. |
This a.m. on TV, Peter King (Sports Illustrated) surmised that Belichick's call was due to an overly-excessive respect for Manning's comeback ability.
. The Colts, meanwhile, are undefeated. :) |

There's a handful of guys that will make you nervous being 1 or 2 possessions up with a couple of minutes to go. Arguably the top two were playing in that game. So take it a step farther. Manning is dangerous but Brady equally so in that situation. Did Belichick tell Brady to go out there and play like NE was down by 1 possession with 2 to go? |
Going for that 4th down was just plain dumb.
|
Back when dallas was really good in the early 90s their idiot coach Barry Switzer did the same thing vs the eagles....4th and 1 from their own 3 with time running out. Except switzer tried to run the play twice and got stuffed. :)

Was thrilled to see our (baltimore) old team get another W! Even if it was nearly giftwrapped.
Nearly went to bed myself before the end and had to laugh when the commentator mentioned that a lot of people were going to be waking up (today) wondering what the heck happened! |
