I think that on this forum we are lucky with the all mods we have.
There are other forums were they "moderate" by changing things people typed.
Not by removing them, but editing, and not leave a message that the post was edited by mods....
There is a Dutch Porsche forum that does this...
On PP, if a thread is closed, it needed closing. (IMO)

i've been bannedon several occasions when i called out the dutch forum mods for being NSB'ers in the way they edit posts without telling or even leaving a mark it was edited. or simply delete entire posts mid thread...
(NSB'rs were Dutch collaborators during WW2, helping to load up the transports to Auschwits... it's a very sensitive subject in Holland :)
Mind you, they edited technical info, because they deemed it not related to the thread it was in... (because they didn't get the info and how it would related)...
The Dutch Porsche forum as a result has a technical level about the same as a concrete brick...
Try and help somebody with for instance MFI, results in 4-5 dorks posting "i wouldn't touch that if i were you, that stuff is to difficult for diy"
PPOT mods do a great job if you ask me, they don't meddle unless they have to, and when they do something, they are fair, clear and to the point.
