I may be getting one for free. barn car for 20 years, motor turns free by hand.
even for free, is it worth the effort to get it back on the road?

They are neat cars, but financially, the answer is no, unless it was very well preserved and pretty much ready to go with no input of money.
Even in good condition, they are only $3-6K cars. They also used some of the seriously low quality sheet metal ever used on an automobile, rust very easily. '75 was the first year after the body change. Everyone loves the '74 and earlier GTV. The '75+, not so much. |

Alfetta? depends if you want to get them to original factory condition, or if you want to get them in a rust free condition. the rust was factory standard.
