Cool story. Quite a thing to live to 100. Glad to see he's still getting around.

And, no, I'm no more afraid of driving on the road with that guy than the average soccer mom in an Escalade.

Did it come from the dealer with the left blinker already on?

Back in the day I gave my 96 year old Grandma a ride in my 930. She traded a team of horses in for a '27 Model T 1 ton truck after she'd driven them 14 miles.

And she loved it

Gave my now 94 year old grandpa a ride in the targa with top off about 4 years ago - said he'd never ridden in a Porsche. Learned on a Model T at age 12 I think.

For as long as I am able, I intend to drive cars that others disapprove of...

And when I'm 101 and someone mentions that they don't like it, I'm going to beat them with my cane! I'll get away with it too because I'll be a 101 year old woman and no reasonable person (except those who know me...) would believe me capable of such a vicious event.

Oh woe to the world when I am an old woman!

A great reason to try and live to 101! Also, maybe the second best way to go...

My grandfather bought my brother's Camaro when he was in his 70's and he enjoyed it for a couple years, then sold it because his back was hurting from getting in and out of the car. He liked the car, but realized he wasn't limber enough for the seats...

By the time you're 101 there will be cameras everywhere, you wont be able to get away with anything, and we already know that there are cops and others here who think that tazing an uppity old woman is perfectly reasonable.

My advice, behave!!!!!!

Article says he worked for GM...that partially explains his choice.

Of all people, Sniper, you should know that behaving is vastly over rated.

Chances are he won't even make it off his driveway... I wouldn't like to live across the street from him if he floors it and backs that thing up into his neighbour's kitchen.

Good for him!

Although a "good news/bad news" thing, he's going to expire before the warranty.

Ok - whatever. I saw a grandma doing a controlled burnout in a C6 Z06 once. THAT was a sight to see.

There was a WWII Vet doing barrel rolls and loops in a WWI Bi-Plane over the Concours here recently. The only thing going through my head was 'Oh ****, if he croaks, he's gonna take out a lot of nice cars' This is pretty much the same situation. Definitely would not want to live in his neighborhood, but good for him for having the balls to enjoy life.
