It was closed for a number of years, but I believe it reopened.

i had to do an exam at powder mountain back in '86, i think it was, and i had to carry a special photo id card to snowboard there. i was riding a foam core burton elite 150. i then had a cruzer 165. i learned on 1976 (?) winterstick with strap 'bindings' and huge skank down the middle.

my current rides are a wood core air and the aforementioned factory prime. i still have a burton backhill in the closet.
