Charleston and Savannah eating

We're off to Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA for some R and R in a few and I'm looking for suggestions on good, local-type eating establishments.
We've been there several times so I know of some, but I'd love some locals to the area to let me in on some of the well-kept secrets the tourists haven't all discovered.

I promise not to stay long so as to not lower the property values!

Thanks!

McEvoy's if you find yourself in the Greenville area. Small local pub owned by a friend of mine. Swing by you won't be disappointed.

Moon River Brewing Co. is pretty good in Savannah. They always have several in-house brews on hand, but the sampler is a lot of beer. Their appetizer sampler is pricey, but an ungodly amount of very well-prepared food.

If you make your way up to Hilton Head (I can make MRBC from here in about 50 minutes, so not to far) Robert Irvine's Eat!/Drink! is great and every tuesday is Tapas Tuesday with all wells/house wines liqour and tapas half off. I make that as many tuesdays as I possibly can. 3-4 Tapas and a few drinks each for 2 people and you can squeeze out for under $75 with a generous tip.

Usually slide right by there... may make it a point to stop in G'ville this time.
Thanks!
