Wife's 2009 x-mas card picture idea
 

Both daughters were home from college for their Thanksgiving break and I had one out back doing a bit of IDPA practice this afternoon.... Out walks my wife and daughter #2 and her boyfriend with a camera and some extra shooting glasses. My wife decided a family shooting picture was in order and she will use it for our yearly x-mas card pic :eek:

I am guessing a few family members and maybe a few of our non-shooting friends my be a tad bit alarmed. :D

No doubt they will all think I set this up. :D I am guessing by my wife's choice of x-mas card material, I may be in for some good x-mas presents this year.... Time to start "peaking" in her hiding spots for a Dillon 550 reloading press. ;):D

Looks like you had a good holiday with the girls home from school.

I am pretty sure both boyfriends think I am a lunatic. Neither boyfriend had ever even touched a firearm of any kind prior to dating my daughters and I think they were shocked to find out both girls owned their own guns and both enjoy blasting the occasional furry cat food stealing varmints in the back yard. :)

A few bullet holes in the cards would be a nice touch too!

Be sure to send cards to Sarah Brady and the ACLU....

(Christ-mas cards with guns is not what Christmas is about. Funny for any other day of the year (except Easter/Xmas), but really...

They wanted another just with mom..... I told boyfriend to let me take the pic as I did not want him to have to stand downrange of three women posing with "dangerous" guns. Both boyfriends are nice guys and both played many sports in highschool, but neither seem at all interested in guns, cars, motorcycles, airplanes, tools etc. Kind of odd, but in "general", I guess kids these days do not get the opportunity to spend their spare time riding dirt bikes, wrenching on hot rods and shooting guns... which is all I did as a kid growing up in the 70s/80s. ;)

Actually my wife had her Bersa .380, but I do have an FEG PA63. The Ruger is my BIL's, but I think I am buying it to indoor target shoot this winter. I just picked up an Advantage Arms .22 conversion for my Glock 34 to practice IDPA with and I thought maybe I could target shoot with it also to improve my accuracy with the Glock, but I will get too p!ssed off at my performance with the conversion when up against competitors using dedicated target guns like the Ruger, Buckmark and SW 41's.

I will make sure my wife knows her idea is already upsetting some people. :D

Just need some fake explosions behind them and you would have...................
