The Climate Science isn't Settled

Check out the Opinion tab in today's Business News & Financial News - The Wall Street Journal - WSJ.com A feature article titled "The Climate Science isn't Settled" from MIT's Prof. Richard S. Lindzen makes an interesting read for all us "unbelievers" in more than a soundbite. Others may not want to clutter up their minds with facts.

But there is a consensus*!!!!!

*Only eligible scientists were allowed to vote on the consensus. Agreeing with the consensus is the sole criterion for eligibility.

The real catastrophe is the single minded focus on "global warming", while all around us over-population, pollution, and urban sprawl are threatening our quality of life. At least in the 60s and 70s we made some real progress. Now we just dither about carbon footprint crap while we ignore things we really could fix.
It starts with individuals and individual behavior. Help shape that. Pick up trash, recycle, support birth control, support urban planning. But there is no money to be made for "non-profits" in that so we just discuss carbon offsets. What a waste.

Why are we still debating this issue.

All the science is complete. The work is done. Turn off the lights.

Go Green!!!

I am all for cleaning up our act - my sole position has always been to work to reduce, reuse and recycle - but chill out with the sky is falling crap - I'm talking to you Mr. Gore and his sheeple (you know who you are).
