Ugh...client taking us to Fogo de Chao for lunch...

And I wake up with a severely upset tummy. Like, don't wanna be at work much less thinking about 42 pounds of grilled meat goodness upset.

Yes, it's a tiny catastrophe compared to what some of you are going through, but it's MY tiny catastrophe

Start cranking down as much water as you can, until about two hours before takeoff. Maybe you can flush it out in time to ...... well ...... make yourself sick 'the right way.'

Even if you were well, that place for lunch is a recipe for a pretty darn sleepy afternoon.

It IS about 2 hours before takeoff already!

I also have a reasonably important face to face meeting with another client afterwards, which was going to be hard enough with the whole food coma thing, but this'll add a whole new dimension of fun to that meeting!

Woohoo!

Time for the cure-all of cure-alls:

Pour a glass of pepto bismol, drop in a tab of seltzer and a shot of tequilia. Chug and head for the border.

You'll feel like roses in no time.

That's Man Card revocation material right there.

Maybe if you're not feeling too well, stick to the lighter stuff like the parmesan pork and the bacon-wrapped filet mignon.

You can always fill up at the "salad" bar.

I've been to FdC twice. I've seen the salad bar, but never been.

Fresh mozarella, sherry-soaked mushrooms, smoked salmon....it's worth a trip.

At least at the one in Chicago, I notice that there is one attendant watching each side like a hawk. Any misplaced utensil is discreetly placed in its proper position. Any misused utensil is quietly replaced, along with whatever item was incorrectly touched. I've seen some people cause several items to be replaced...

For Pete sake untuck your penis and man-up! Good animals gladly gave their lives so we can feast on their flesh. The least you can do is honor them by eating till you puke then eat some more. Have some respect will ya!

I love Fogo de Chao! I wouldn't miss it unless I'm having a coronary. Found a Brazilian steakhouse here in SF. We are going there during the holidays. Can't wait!

Dear lord, I didn't miss it! I just complained a bit beforehand!

I did go to the salad bar, they had rice (with meat in it) and Caesar salad (with meat in it) and some slices of meat (with meat in it). And some really nice aged cheese, which came from meat.

Then I ate meat.

Then I ate the brownie a la mode (no meat, surprisingly...).

Now I'm full, and tired as hell.
