recommendations for dvd backup software?

I've been through countless freeware and shareware programs, and can't find anything all-in-one, simple, straightforward and reliable to backup dvds. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I don't really care about features, dvd authoring, menu customization, etc. I just want something to rip and burn, preferably without any input other than switching DVDs in the drive. Nero is out because I've had nothing but problems with audio/video sync. I'm happy to pay for software that does this, but definitely want to try it first, because my success rate so far has been so low.

This is all for perfectly legit, purchased DVD backups. I'm making copies of several this week to take on holidays next week, because I don't want the original getting wrecked in luggage.

Thanks!

DvdFab is what you want.

Not free but worth it. About $50 for 2 years of updates. The updates are very necessary to keep up with the latest protection.

You want the Dvd to Dvd portion of the package.
