Kimbo slice
Kimbo slice,, just watched the fight. This really sucked. Ufc is really pimping this big, slow, no heart bozo. Brock lesner will
knock him out. If kimbo and his octagon dance partner for the night had any pride, they would commit ritual suicide. It was embarrising to watch. Jmho |

I haven't seen the fight yet. Was it really that bad? No KO?

UFC put them on the fight card for entertainment value, not because Kimbo/Houston can fight. They matched up two brawlers with no ground skills with the hopes of an explosive knockout. The fight ended up being the worst they could hope for--3 rounds of avoiding each other (in fear of being put to sleep by the other) for the most part and a unanimous decision for Kimbo. He'll never even be a top 25 heavyweight or light-heavy for that matter. He wasn't even top five on the TUF show and they were very weak talent-wise.

The guy is just a bum. A big/slow beanbag that would not last 5 minutes in the ring with any legitimate HW boxer on earth. That goes for everyone in the UFC, basically. What a lowlife "sport"...

That would be a great match up though. GSP against a world class boxer of same weight class. I still think the MMA fighter would submit the boxer.

They'd get knocked-out before they could dry hump the boxer from behind in the corner. I hate that "sport".

there is a reason ufc is making boxing #2. both areas have their superstars. in a
perfect match-up, mma provides a more entertainment/emotional/real deal experience. i really suspect "fixing" or intentional lop-sided match-ups done to elevate contestant market appeal in some cases. some, like TITO ORTIZ, who fought for free while in college, TANK ABBOT, and a short list of others, were the real deal when in their "prime". remember the beginning, when the "head butt" was still legal? i don't do "pay per view" boxing or mma. remember the so called rope-a-dope "tactic" used by mohammed ali? CASSIUS CLAY would have pulverized his a$$. |

![]() I wouldn't even call Kimbo Slice a MMA fighter, his ground game is still way to weak. The only reason Brock lesner is champ is because he's so damn big and there is no one to really match up to him. Frank Mir is much better ground guy then Lesner but at 280 pounds what can you do against a guy like that. Personally, There isn't a person in boxing that I would pay to watch fight.

Frank Mir's ground game is top notch and he can take a punch too. Just not from a 280 lb bear of a guy like Lesnar though.
