If only I could afford the airfare and lodging...

Lodging? What is that? This will be my 5th consecutive year, and of that time I spent a total of about 6 hours in a hotel. Usually I sleep in a car or borrow some floor space in someone's trailer.

Well that would work... I would still need a plane ticket out there...

Looks like you can get from OKC to SAC for about $500, but you would need to rent a car and drive to Willows.

Actually, if you stick around and leave Monday morning, it is amazingly cheap, especially with no advanced purchase:

I don't have 500 bucks... I'm a broke ass college kid..... Oh and have to go to class monday. Finals start next week...

you know what happened to the last boy trekkor "brought out" from the mid west? he was made a sex slave and now that he is "worn" he is forced to set tile for pennies an hour, seven days a week, in the snow, up hill both ways...:D

It is probably too late for this year, but if you started planning earlier, get in with a team who has people flying in and try and share a rental car with someone, or try and catch a ride with someone going that way. It is about 80 miles from Thunderhill to the airport.

I can't believe how cheap that flight I linked is, my mother lives in Stillwater, and I flew in to OKC this summer for a week. Even with the advanced purchase it was well more than that.

no don't suspect i will be getting up that way. too dam cold. looks as if you guys might just get this in before the storms hit next week. now if cliff wanted to car pool up maybe i would pull the trigger.....
