Those Rangers are basically lightweight fire-fighting boots

I have worn the Alpha - the Ranger has a metarsal plate that is great except for the fact that I have a very high arch and it would bug the shyt out of me. I do have meta boots but they are tie-ups and not rubber.
For bridge stuff that you do I think I would go with the Ranger (if you don't have a high arch that is)

I've spent too much time wearing rubber boots over the years (only when i had to). The only thing you can think about is getting them OFF!
A few hours is enough to mess up your feet. I can't imagine wearing them all day every day. No way. |
