Question Why do you call it a spoon

Can't figure that out, a rifle is a spoon???? I guess a knife is a bayonet, so that must make a fork a gernade cause when you throw it - it's Fork you. where did that slang come from where you call a gun a spoon?

Tabs actually does collect spoons. Real spoons. And he collects antique firearms as well. He knows a great deal about both. "Spoons" sort of became interchangeable.

...and here I thought it was a covert name designed to keep the Federales from picking up on the conversations with their spying super-computers. They then combine this data with your IP address and the GPS results in the census and send out the black helicopters to aim the Microwave satellites and cook you in your bed while you're asleep.

My mother used to have a spoon collection, maybe she still does. I need to ask about that.

Thanks Moses - so it's a tabs thing, and I don't have to go fork myself, I'm forked already.

The very thing that sets us 'civilized' folk apart from the rest - eating utensils and guns...

We really need to conserve the word spoon when referencing to guns.

It should be reserved for collectible or rare guns. I.E. my 20 ga. isn't a spoon. My original K98- thats a spoon.

Now lets have the secret handshake and decoder ring. Um, why not just call them guns, rifles, pistols, handguns, and the dozen or so other names already in use?

I though "Tabs" was just skipping past the blank spaces with a single click instead.

I'm going out on a limb here but spoon doesn't filter as well through the CIA's internet vacuum cleaner quite like AR-15. What Chris said was much better.
