Rant, but short...

Can't ANYONE learn the difference between:

Advise: verb meaning to offer verbal/written assistance

Advice: noun meaning the verbal/written assistance offered

Definitions are my own off the top of my head but dammit you know the difference.

Now, do you need to have 'noun' and 'verb' defined ? Look it up...

They drive their Aston Martins to compensate for their inadequate dangling modifiers.

Once I responded with 'Celenoid' instead of 'Solonoid'. Just wasn't paying attention, and I got called on it abruptly. It was a mistake,,,I mean, I didn't say 'Solarnoyd' or sumpin'. Doesn't mean I'm stupid. Well, um, disregard that last...............

recently i got an email from a friend. It was a full written paragraph but almost all the words were completely misspelled.

The first and last letters of each word were correct. The wierd thing was you could read and comprehend the complete letter.

ill try to find it.
