Well, years ago, when the Raiders didn't suck, I was a big, (really big) fan of the silver and black. Then, Al Davis went senile, and after 10? 12? years of beating that dead horse, following every losing season, doin' the 'wait till next year' like a Cubs fan, I started watching the college game for my football fix, and these days I can't watch much more than a few plays of an NFL game. Don't know what happened, it just doesn't interest me anymore. (I have a theory that I was watching the NFL to root for teams to lose, (Denver! Dallas! New England! ) rather than rooting for a team to win - and I just eventually lost enthusiasm.) (sorry about your Steelers)

If having a poor season once or twice in decade is the price it cost for winning a super bowl....I'll take it any time!
Actually, if they won again this year, I doubt I would even care. Sometimes its just not in the cards. I am more excited about seeing other teams win it this year. New Orleans is nothing short of unbelievable. One thing about having a good team is it makes you a fan of others. Don't ask me about baseball. The Pirates are the worst franchise in sports, so I have some ideas of what others feel.

American sports SUCK in general.............overpaid whiney cry baby cough cough "athletes" that get paid the same whether they win or lose.
sad pout pout poor (yeah right) players. I say make it pay for performance. Everyone earns ZERO to start with. Baseball, you get to first base, you get $5K, 2nd base $10K, and so on....... Foot ball, you don't get the first down, you don't get paid. nuff said. Heck, Shaq couldn't make a free throw, but yet was getting 180 million dollars over a 6 year contract. 30 MILLION a year..............ucking fugly their salaries............ don't even get me started on the Yankees. We'll pay 'em to win...........sad sad america in sports. off my soap box...... they all suck.
