I went to about about 150 GD shows. Touch of Gray was my least favorite song. It's too pop.

I only saw them (or the JGB) 10-to 12 times and I still like this song.

Fine song but the version in the above video is not their best effort. Editing is fairly poor as well.

Managed to see the boys about 35 times in the late 80's up until Jerry's demise.

Sure do miss 'em. The current version just isn't the same.

I had tickets for the last show in Chicago but blew it off due to the bad vibe flowing from the fence jumpers in Deer Creek and the accident near the St. Louis shows.

I was invited to go to that show as some of my friends had an extra ticket. As I had to work at 6 a.m. the following morning, I declined. I figured I would catch them on the fall tour. See how that worked out...

I never did get to see them live.

It's funny. Anymore I like the stuff Pigpen sang the most...

Saw them a bunch of times in the late 80's/early 90's. Sure do miss em. We listened to the Grateful Dead Channel on Sirius all weekend while working on a rental house. Sure brought back some memories.
I have a couple of friends who were, and still are tourheads( now following Rat Dog) I think My buddy todd has seen several hundred shows in his life

my first show was a sunday in a park free show in spring of 68 in north miami
they were set up on a flatbed truck with generators for power
they played all day then announced they were playing a gig
at the immage a local hall that nite
Pigpen was the soul of the band
they were not the same band after he left

I have been a fan for a long time, but never had the chance to see them.. Funny, I love the music, but don't, never even tried drugs...

I too have seen them in the 130 ish range number of times. Touch not one of my favs, agreed on a bit too commercial. Heck when I had my floor trading firm it was called Dark Star Trading.

I hundreds of hours of live stuff on my Ipod and love the GD channel on sat radio. I miss going to real shows and took in a few of the "shows" this spring but its not the same. Will always miss Jerry and something like a good "Standing on the Moon"

TOG is okay but Morning Dew is my fav.

Randy... thanks. One of the last few shows I saw was at the Garden and we has side stage seats right next to Jerry and the boys did a kicking version of SOTM and its been burned into my mind as an all timer since then.

For the record other than some of the shows in the late 70's and very early 80's I was stone cold sober for most every of the 130 or so shows I saw.

My favorite Dead song was/is Darkstar. I only saw them once.
