Kimi's going muddin' in 2010.
 

So, Kimi's got a ride at Citroen next year.



I don't follow rally cars but I like KR so I plan to check in on him once in a while.

How do you think he'll do?

he was a guest driver for citroen at the finland event. he was well off the pace & crashed. direct tv's hd theater has the wrc on every sunday night. channel 281 i think?

Well off the pace?

He was 15th overall in a second tier car, 3rd in class, when he crashed. Not too shabby really for his first ever attempt. He wasn't the only one to be caught out on that particular corner.

That's where you find me every Sunday night. Pretty cool that Kimi is headed to the WRC, maybe it will help bring the exposure that sport deserves. Rally is my favorite form of racing to watch on TV.

You should follow WRC. Best drivers on the planet, biggest attachments too !

I think Kimi will be a solid mid-fielder, because really there are 5 or 6 top drivers in the WRC. The rest are second drawer in comparison (still very good compared to me ;-) I predict lots of crashes and a podium mid season. I think he will be very good on tarmac though, with his track experience and understanding of setup and tarmac grip, and since he has the best car in a Citroen, who knows... On tarmac it's possible he could be up there if Hirvo and Loeb crash ! Fun !

I haven't paid much attention since Gronholm left, but I intend to watch next year. I was a little disappointed that Kimi didn't get to go back to McLaren.
He's Finnish... I suspect he'll do fine in WRC. Will he be Loeb's teammate?

Unfortunately, we're behind on channel 281 (HDTV) by a season. Anyone have any idea how to get the 2010 season right off the bat. I think WRC starts in Jan if I remember? Speed won't host WRC anymore. I guess we are relegated to download torrents instead?

Sorta... In the junior team, most likely Ogier's teammate... Same car though.

Well right now we're catching up to the 09 season end. I think 2010 will be "live", well, you know, tape delayed to sunday night anyway. Should be all good !!

I'm just glad I finally get WRC again after Speed dropped it...
