Frogs Like To Croak
Out back of the house is a pond. In that pond a big ole Bull Frog loves to sun himself on a lily pad...and just loves nothin better than to puff himself up to twice his size to croak and show how smart and important he is...
Unfortunately his neighbors living across the pond have to listen to his incessant croaking all night long. For awhile it was a delightfull sound, but after awhile it just became annoying. For that old Bull Frog just didn't have an ounce of humility, and know when to engage his neighbors and stfu with his insults. . |
oh, tabs. stirring the pot.
a pellet gun has bagged many a frog for me. then a hatchet to remove the hindquarters. a simple breading from whipped egg and cornmeal and salt and pepper. fry em up in light olive oil. delicious! |

Tabs... Just a question... When referring to this creature, is the emphasis on the first or second syllable? In my experience the 'bull' is dominant.

I think I've seen this frog of whom you speak.

I am a big fan of frog legs with garlic and butter - yummy - the body and head get thrown away but lets face it, there is nothing of any value in a frogs head anyway...
