Flip video??

Anybody have a flip video from Costco or have any experience with them. Are they worth the $139 price? Just curious? Might pick one up for kicks! Thanks for the feedback!

I have a flip video camera that I got for about $100. For my purposes I'd say it is worth it, but know going in that it's as bare bones a video camera as you're ever going to find. It does seem to work as promised, and shoots in 720p.

I love mine. No frills. Plugs right in to the computer and the quality is good. Worth it. Would make a cheap car cam too.

It's been a year now, any new 'news' on the flip video? Looking at them for Christmas.

Thanks

I've had one for awhile. Great to have handy to shoot quick video, although no "zoom in/out" just close/a little closer.

They are decent but I am hearing about issues with the HD ones dying...

I ended up going with the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG9. Shoot awesome video and stills... Mounts nice in the 944...

Anyone looking at the Flip owes it to themselves to investigate the Kodak Zi8. Surpasses the Flip in every category...

Talewinds - I'm looking at both these cameras, do you have experience with both? and in what way is the Kodak better than the Flip - Picture, sound, features?
