I got one that was supposed to be fogless... It was the first time I used it... Not anymore.... I just run some hot water on it or smear a little soap on it....

I've been shaving in the shower without a mirror for years. It took a couple weeks but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. Well worth giving it a try. Once you get it down you'll wonder why you didn't start it years ago.

I need a mirror.... I don't shave it all off...

i shave IN the shower. a little spit and its good to go. sometimes soap and water.
i also brush my teeth in the shower. the more time i spend in the shower, the better

I shave in the shower without a mirror, but there are times when I think it would be nice to have a mirror. I'd be impressed if someone could come up with a fogless mirror. It's more about temperatures than chemical make-up. Take a shower with cold water and you'll have a fogless mirror.

i prefer to shower with a friend, and let her handle the "manscaping";)

this thread will not be gettng any pix of said showers.

I use the kind that screws in between the outlet and shower head. It trickels a low stream of water bypassing the shower head to heat the mirror. Works great, I have used them for many years.

Yeah, that's about the only way I can see to make a mirror in the shower fogless.

Either that or having it plug into the wall with an electric heating element. ;)

There is a product skiers have used for years to keep their goggles from fogging up. It's rather improbably called "CAT CRAP". Works like a charm. I see no reason why it shouldn't also work on your shower mirror.

Google it. Comes in little red tubs.

I was thinking of some type of Divers anti fog...

Fog X?

Shaun @ Tru6 12-11-2009 04:06 PM

Found the cat crap, thanks, and for all with suggestions. if it's all about equalizing the mirror temp to the air temp, also thinking of mounting a mirror on a shallow Tupperware(TM) container (or similar) that I can fill up with hot water and then hang on the wall/over the shower arm.

You can smear some shaving cream on the mirror while you are taking a shower, rinse it off, and it won't fog up. Works like a charm, David

Use your finger as a guide. I use the shave mug, post shower.

I like Shaun's ghetto solution though.
