Too cool. My 18 would be 19 years before yours. Almost seems like prehistory.

They didn't have cameras when I was 18.

Vaguely remember that age... and yes I did have hair then. Unfortunately the wind was blowing the camera strap around, and got part of my fugly face.

Strat & a hat. Awesome :) Do you still have that '65? That's not the 'mongrel', is it? Looks like a clean early '65 (small headstock, transitional logo). |
What about that Kramer bass? I bought mine in 1982 and just sold it this year. It helped fund the Porsche. A very nice instrument for moderate $.

Stupid, rainy day here in Maryland.
16 Newbury Park High School http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1260722428.jpg 18 North Fork American River, first year as a boatman. I'd run the thing a million times in a kayak, the below was much harder. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1260722483.jpg |
Strat, hat, and a metal slide. That is an original '65 - only mod was a brass nut. Sadly that guitar is long gone. One of the instruments I wish I'd never sold. The Kramer was my buddy Harry's bass. You can see his Anvil case for it in one of the pics, next to my beat up, only-one-latch-working brown Fender case (darker than tweed, but not black). The metal neck was trippy.
Ahh, youth... |
