The Reno Air Races features insanely crazy (and brave) pilots racing around pylons in vintage P-51 Mustangs and such at speeds in excess of 500 mph.

Very, very cool. I have a couple of friends that race in the T6 class. I actually planned on racing my stock 'six back in the late 90's when they were hurting for entrants. I figured that even if I finished last, that the prize money would pay for some of the avgas. Alas, the T6 promoter did such a good job recruiting pilots that the next year they had more than could qualify.
 Oh well, in another life...
