Remember back before George Michael got caught in the toilet, um, giving out favors, back when you also saw the Wham boys videos all over MTV and VH-1?
He wore this white t-shirt with the words "Frankie Say" in huge black letters.
I was on Duval Street in Key West toward the end of Wham-mania when most of us were sick of them and saw a shirt in a store window that read, "Who gives a Fuch What Frankie Say!"
Wish I'd bought it.

I just put a USB compatible head unit in my car. I am in happy happy happy city. 4gb of music on a stick, no more CDs to melt or scratch or have stolen, no more cassete tapes that wear out.....musical perfection! :)

Hey! I want one of those. What kind did you get, and how does it install? I know nothing about these things, but I do know I'm sick of CDs and am too cheap for Sirus, XM and what-not.

I'm getting sick of that Mariah Carey christmas song... you know.. the one that reeks of 1993.

GH85Carrera 12-17-2009 05:00 AM

I hate all Christmas music. I am happy to say I have never heard of wham before this post. I have no idea what their song sounds like and I don't want to know.

I have a CD/DVD player in my car. Just one DVD of MP3s is over 100 albums that I own. Put it on random and enjoy. At work I listen to Pandora all day. Just 3 bucks a month and unlimited music tailored to my tastes. NO commercials ever. The only time I am forced to listen to Christmas music is at the restrurants I frequent. I have been know to complain to the manager. I guess it is official, I am a grumpy old geezer.

ODDJOB UNO 12-17-2009 05:58 AM
