Not my project, but my co-workers did this installation at the Museum of Science, Boston:

We actually have virtual patients that are used to train med students (mostly psych clinicians). We also use them for practicing bi-lateral negotiations and have used them in cultural training as well. Still a log of issues to work out, but for training they have the prospect of saving a lot of money.
