I just put all of my Visor stuff in a box, jeez, I have three complete units, plus a whole bunch of cords and adapters, they work perfectly, but were rendered obsolete the minute my itouch came in the mail.

Same goes with my Mac Lombard - every accessory, works perfectly, but not needed.

I just hate to throw this stuff away.

Trust has nothing to do with it. The issue is dollars. The consumer - driven by technology (or is that led by . . .) - is demanding convenience. And convenience means: from the comfort of your own couch.

I am constantly having to come up with older technology when doing period films/shows. The 50's and 60's aren't tough (TV's, dial phones, transistor radios, etc) we can get from prophouses but the 80's and 90's are tough because you need to find 30 old computers for a newsroom or those "brick" cellphones.

Right now I'm helping get together props for a 1982 "flashback" episode on Grey's Anatomy. Spent most of yesterday looking for 20 of these, they ain't exactly plentiful..

Save your old crap, I might end up buying it on Ebay someday for a good price.

I have an origional PCG twin floppy IBM PC. The first PC. And a working copy of 2.1 DOS in the attic, thinking it maybe a collectors item in a few decades.

I have one of the very first Apple MacIntoshs ever sold. Are they worth anything?
