Great Customer Service
I know some of you collect / like knives, so I thought I'd post this up.
I ordered a Gerber Brush Thinner Machete (GB-41061GB-41061) From these folks, http://www.knivesplus.com/index.html and UPS promptly delivered it to someone other than me. UPS said I had to file the claim with the shipper and they could do nothing. I contacted Knives Plus, and they handled it like a champ. UPS settled the claim (long story), and They wanted to know if I wanted another shipped out, or a refund. Unfortunately, Verizon Wireless cannot make my new cell phone work reliably, so I never got the calls, or the voicemails. Mediacom Cable decided to revamp the way they handle their e mail system at the same time, so I never got their e mails. After about 3 weeks of not being able to contact me, I finally get a phone call before it drops off into voice mail. They shipped it out today (with a different shipper) and apologized for all of the trouble. Which was odd, since none of it was their fault. When someone doesn't drop the ball, or goes out of their way to take care of me, I like to pass the good word along. IF you need anything with a blade, give them a try, and tell them Brent sent you. It won't get you a discount, but they will know that their customer service paid off.
