What Makes LABS Great

They're always happy to see you, and they have no interest in politics!

Graham,
Had a yellow one just like yours for 13 years. She showed up when the youngest kids were about 3. She would to do a "front yard patrol" every morning when I went out to start the truck. When I actually left for work she was always laying on the front porch with a 'happy look'. Front yard secure sir, time to get the kids up, have breakfast, and begin the backyard 'patrol'.

Never needed a leash, (I know, I know) never left mine or the kids side during a walk.

Cats, raccoons, foxes, and squirrels were not welcome on her property.

She actually removed the girls guinea pig from the box and "brought" it to me. (no damage) with a real happy look on her face. Of all things, she and the 'pig' got along quite well.

Wonderful animal, not gonna even try and replace her.

You have a great Lab!

I have an 8 yr old Chololate lab. He's a real treat, although not the most intelligent animal on the planet.

Here is a photo of Riley with about 15 lbs of dry dog food crammed in his stomach after finding the bag in the garage unguarded at my in-law's house.

He could hardly get up and just laid there and groaned for the longest.

What a knucklehead... :)

mcqueen being shamed after chewing the finger off my never used, brand new nomex gloves while we rode to thunder hill. it did end up ok as that finger was perfect for camera operations when suited up & strapped on grid

Incredibly smart and loving dogs

dan88911 12-19-2009 04:21 PM

Yeah, labs are cool wish I had the time for one. No time for the training and the maintenance. I 'd want to be able to take it anywhere without problems like them see and eye dogs.

vash 12-19-2009 04:36 PM

only downside to all my LABS...messiest water drinkers EVER!
