Just try to imagine how many suckers will respond to that. If no-one did, these scams wouldn't still be commonplace. My dumbass sister, who regularly posts her name (including maiden name & mother's maiden name) date of birth and address on FaceBook can't imagine for the life of her how someone compromised her debit card. | ||

Yeah, lots of horror stories out there, and there's always a story. Unfortunately, people bite on scams like the one above and for some reason those same people don't apply caution to email messages like they do to people that show up at their doorstep. Accounts get hacked due to easy passwords, well that's just dumb users too. I don't see this as PayPal's fault or something inherently wrong with the system. I've been with PayPal for many years and several hundred transactions and have never had a problem. Having a PayPal account makes many transactions much easier (as does having credit cards) and I don't have to share my credit card information with any additonal sellers or merchants.
